Road – The town lies on the A26 which runs from Maidstone in Kent to Newhaven.
Rail – The railway station is on the line to Uckfield.

Brief History

Crowborough is not a particulary historic town. In Edwardian times it was regarded as a health resort due to the good quality of its air due to the height above sea level. However, stone tools have been found in locations around the area of the town, giving rise to the fact that it was occupied in the Neolithic Era.
